You can use it to modify text properties: Hold down the pointer on the Text tool icon to display pop-up menu of text styles. Hold down the pointer on the Text tool icon while pressing the Command key to display dn-dod menu of fonts Hold down the pointer on the Text tool icon while pressing the Shift key to display dn-dod menu of font sizes To select characters within a text object, drag the Text tool's I-beam pointer across the characters you want select to highlight them. select word double-click to select an entire line, triple-click 10 select an entire text object, click it with the Arrow tool.
